How to Find Blocked Numbers on Android

If you have ever used the blocking feature on your Android device to stop unwanted calls or messages, you may wonder how to access the list of blocked numbers. Maybe you want to check if you have blocked someone by mistake or want to give someone a second chance. Finding blocked numbers on Android is not a hard task, but it may differ depending on your phone model and Android version.

How to Find Blocked Numbers on Android

To find the blocked number on Android there are three ways for it and those are:

Through Phone App
Through Contacts App
Through Messages App

Through Phone App

Using the built-in Phone app on an Android device is one of the simplest ways to view blocked numbers. You can manage your contacts, receive calls, block undesired numbers, make calls, and manage your contacts using this app.

Step 1: Launch the Phone app and select Settings from the menu that displays after tapping the kebab menu in the top-right corner of the screen:

Step 2: A list of all the numbers you have blocked on your phone will appear when you select Block numbers from the Settings menu. By selecting Add a number, you can also add additional phone numbers to the block:

To unblock a number, tap the X icon next to it and confirm your choice.

Through Contacts App

Another way to find blocked numbers on Android is to use the default Contacts app that comes with your device. You can manage and store your contacts with this app, and you can sync them with other apps and your Google account. Using the Contacts app, take the following actions to locate blocked numbers:

Step 1: Launch the Contacts app, and then hit the Fix & manage tab at the bottom of the window:

Step 2: You may see a list of all the numbers you’ve blocked on your phone by selecting Blocked numbers from the Fix & manage menu. You can also add new numbers to the block by tapping Add a number:

To unblock a number, tap it and then tap Unblock from the pop-up menu or tap on the X icon.

Through Messages App

If you use the default Google Messages app for texting, you can also find blocked numbers on Android using this app. The provided application enables users to exchange text messages seamlessly while also offering the functionality to prevent spam and unwanted messages from bothering them. To identify blocked numbers within the Messages app, simply adhere to the following steps:

Step 1: Access the Messages app on your Android device and proceed to tap the Kebab menu icon positioned in the upper-right corner of the screen:

Step 2: Select the option Spam & blocked from the displayed menu, and you will be presented with a comprehensive list of all the conversations you have blocked on your phone. You can also block new conversations by tapping Block & report spam from any chat thread:

To unblock a conversation, tap it and then tap Unblock from the pop-up menu.
