Meta Bans Russian State media from Ads or monetizing on its platform

Meta will now prohibit Russian state media from putting adverts or monetizing on its platform. According to Facebook’s head of security, Nathaniel Gleicher, Meta will now prevent Russian state media from running ads or monetizing on their platform around the world.

Russians have already suffered sanctions from a number of nations, which are likely to have an impact on Russian banks, military exports, Russian airlines, oil refineries, and a variety of other industries.
