KDE Plasma 6.4.1 Update Disables ‘Seizure Triggering’ Effect
KDE Plasma 6.4 has received its first point since release, and among a variety of minor bug fixes, is an important one to reduce the risk of inducing seizures in photosensitive users. Now, it’s not like KDE desktop was tripping the light fantastic, but the “highlight window” effect enabled by default for Task Manager thumbnails could, under a specific workflow, result in enough screen flickering at frequencies which trigger seizures in those susceptible.
