$ cd Downloads

Step 4: Now make the file executable so that it can be used to install FreeFileSync, so execute:

$ sudo chmod +x FreeFileSync_11.29_Install.run

Step 5: Now simply run the extracted file in terminal:

$ ./FreeFileSync_11.29_Install.run

Next the system will ask for agreement on the terms and conditions of FreeFileSync and for that enter y:

Next the press Enter to prompt the installation process of FreeFileSync, the installation might take one to two minutes and once it’s completed the message of all done will be displayed:

Step 6: Next run the application from the icon on the desktop and use this tool as per your preference:

To remove the FreeFileSync completely from Linux Mint just run:

$ sudo rm -r /opt/FreeFileSync

Note: The version installed in this guide might get outdated or removed from the official site but still you can install this tool by following these steps, all you need to do is to change the version in the commands.
