If you are using the latest models of iPhone, you might have noticed that your iPhone does a few things automatically while you are looking at the screen. This is due to the built-in feature, the Attention Aware Features of the iPhone. This feature works with the front camera of the iPhone to detect the activity and take necessary actions according to it.

What is Attention Aware Features on iPhone?

The Attention Aware feature is available in iPhone X and the latest models of iPhone. When this feature is enabled on your device, it detects whether you are paying attention to the screen or not and takes action accordingly. If you are looking at your device the display will not dim and if you are looking somewhere else the device will detect it through the camera of your device, dim the light of the screen, and lower the volume of the sound.

How to Enable Attention Aware Features for Enhanced Accessibility on iPhone

If you want to enable the Attention Aware feature on your iPhone then follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Settings of the device and tap on Accessibility.


Step 2: Look for the Face ID & Attention under PHYSICAL AND MOTOR.


Step 3: Turn the toggle ON for Attention Aware Features by moving it towards the right.


Note: If you have not set the Face ID on your iPhone, this feature still works using the True Depth Camera of your iPhone.
