Minecraft game comes with a variety of mobs you can breed and benefit from. The method for breeding mobs is different for everyone some of them are easy to breed compared to others and a cow is one of them. Cows can be found in any biome having grass as they feed on wheat seeds which you can find from the grass, so that is where the availability of the cows will be at maximum. There are usually found in a group and that makes it easier for their breeding. Cows are one of the easiest mobs in Minecraft that you can tame as all you need to do is to hold the wheat in your hand and then they start to follow you wherever you go only possible if you maintain 6 blocks distance or under with them. You can then use any block to enclose them just like we used the fence in the above image.

Uses of Cow in Minecraft

Cows can give you three main things which are leather, raw meat or milk.

You need to kill them for getting the first two items which are leather and raw meat, but you can collect milk on an empty bucket by holding it and the right click on any cow.

In the first image, you can see that the empty bucket is now filled with milk whereas in the second image killing a cow has given one piece of raw beef and two pieces of leather. A milk bucket can be used to make a cake that can be used to replenish up to 14 hunger points. Also, you can use it to remove any positive or negative effects that you have applied to yourself.

Whereas one of the most important uses of leather is to make leather armor that will greatly help you in fighting mobs so that you can last longer. Raw beef can also be used to recover your hunger level up to 3 and if you use the cooked beef then it will recover 8 hunger levels.

Cows Behavior

Cows are friendly passive mobs which means that they won’t attack you and try to go away from you when you attack them. When you go closer to them, they will stare at you for a few seconds, and then again, they start doing their primary job which is to walk randomly and eating grass.
