Congratulations to Mageia 9 release in August 2023! Mageia is a GNU/Linux operating system and Free Software distribution successor to the late Mandriva (had been known as the first user-friendly desktop distro before Ubuntu). It comes in complete choices as Installers, Live Editions, as well as Netinstalls in both 64-bit and 32-bit PC architectures to run on your desktop, laptop and server computers. Mageia 9 Installer

This is main edition of Mageia 9 in DVD size and available for both 32-bit and 64-bit computers. Upgrading from previous version, Mageia 8, can be done only with this edition.

Mageia 9 Live

These are the live editions of Mageia 9 in moderate size and coming with LiveCD capabilities. They're equal to live installer of Ubuntu and Debian. Available choices are KDE Plasma, GNOME and Xfce editions. The 32-bit PC version is only available in Xfce edition.

Mageia 9 Netinstall

These are the advanced installer editions of Mageia 9 made available for server installation as well as custom Mageia setup. A netinstall is a small ISO image that completes a custom installation via network (internet). It is equal to netinstall editions of Ubuntu and Debian. It is available for both 32-bit and 64-bit PC architectures.
